I like envycontrol, u can get it from AUR (I use arch btw 😁 ). Its a niche program for a specific purpose, it helps me to control my NVIDIA card on my laptop. I can just give out the command to turn my card off, then rebooting the machine will set the settings in place. Pretty helpful for conserving battery life. Then if i want to do something that would require me to have the card permanently turned on, that setting as far as i am aware actually disable the integrated GPU meaning it will only use my card for the heavy task. There is also a hybrid mode though.
All in all a pretty good program in my opinion.
I dont know how underrated, but I use obsidian, as a note taking application. So awesome, you can even have mindmaps with the different topics you have created, i am really liking it. Lots of different settings, awesome configations. I highly recommend it, probably more applicable for a someone than envycontrol, because more people take notes than turn off their GPUs.
