I have been trying to play classic games (SNES-era) like The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past, Super Mario World and maybe more, to see what is it about this games that makes it so renowned and remembered by people.
and its been fun playing zelda blind with no guide or anything except for searching where to go to find the third dungeon in the dark world (i feel so angry when i found out that you just have to go to the lost woods to find the portal to the dark forest).
and ive been surprised by how the moving feels in super mario world, because so far i've just only played platformer games like megaman x and zero where the movement i think has no momentum conservation, so it feels constant whereas super mario world it feels like the movement are more granular, kinda like slipping on ice a little bit, i dont know if i like it or not, it requires more effort to placing your character where you want it to be.
