Been a while since I revisited that list, so let's take another look at it.
Albion - still out there.
State Of Emergency - still need to write a python script in order to unpack some files. Damn.
Neo Contra - got the best ending with one of my friends!.. well, one of the best. The game actually wanted us to actually get the highest rating on every level for an extra line of praise, but, man, speedrunning is beyond me. Besides, it is just a line of text. I saw the best cutscenes, so I call it a day on this one.
Gladius - still out there.
Just Cause 1 - actually finally completed it! Phew! One less! It took me three approaches to finally complete this game. My second try savegames got deleted in a weird bug, and my first try... well, I don't even remember by now. But I'm finally done with it! Ended up writing one of my best hacks for this game along the way, one that allowed players spawn unreleased vehicles, which earned me a donation and a video full of praise from another guy on YouTube. So it was a long, but a rewarding way.
Need For Speed: Carbon - texture pack is still in process. 5 textures have been done, but there are 5 more to go.
Jet Grind Radio - texture pack on hold, but I really need to get back to it.
Wipeout 3 Special Edition - last championship left.
Huntdown - still at "almost finished" point.
Forza Motorsport - I really want to try and connect NeGcon to my 360... and if it will work, I want to record my hands as a I race in FM. All of that takes time, and I just can't find enough of a free time these days around.
Soul Calibur 2 - I started making a hack for it, which I kind of made, but I think I can try and make an even better one... soon.
Asterigos: Curse Of The Stars - completed about half of it, then got kinda disappointed with it, recorded a huge-ass video about my disappointment which can be found in this post, and that's been the end of it by now. Every time I want to return to it, I feel it is better to complete Albion after all, and so far I completed neither.
Monster Bash HD - started and completed it somewhere along the way. It is actually a very nice remake of an old school classic. Crazy hard too, so I actually used a Cheat Table to make it easier for myself. Yes, I am, actually, a rather casual player, which I compensate by being a hardcore cheater.
Biolab Wars - cool little contra-like from Brasil. I actually really recommend this to everyone who who want a casual Contra-for-one to kill an evening with.
Last but not least...
Far Away From Home - and awesome indie game made by a pretty cool guy named Matthew Wong. Frankly, unless you have a critical aversion to turn-based combat, I really urge you to try this game out. Frankly, plot-wise I think this is the best game I saw since Bioshock. For the first time in more than dozen years a game made me think hard about realtionship between the character and the player... albeit I am not sure if that was an intention of the dev, or if I am just an autist. Anyway, if you feel intrigued by those words and do not mind absolutely massive spoilers, you can check out my video here:
The part about Bioshock is at 51:02, and the rest of timecodes are in the description.
Kind of sorry for sharing my own video once again - I truly dislike self-advertising - but for this particular game, I'm ready to do it. I truly loved Far Away From Home and it pains me to see just how unknown it is.
