I used to play a lot of 4key rhythm games. I never got crazy good, but I had a blast. I'd play some days until my forearms would hurt the next day. This isn't my best score or best song but I did record this one for whatever reason.
I started with Stepmania, then played a lot of Osu, then a lot of DJMAX. I bought one of the big arcade replicas for IIDX and played that a lot until I broke it moving. I was always awful at it, didn't care. Also put a lot of time into the Project Diva games on Vita and a bit of Taiko on the switch.
Taiko is my latest endeavor. Bought a drum for it and got an insert printed out to make it more responsive, bouncy, and change the noise. Taiko is really fun, but really loud and I don't want to make a bunch of noise when there's a lot of people around, so it's like a backseat pleasure. If I ever do get good enough to convince myself I should I'd really like to buy one of these custom drums by some dude in hong kong or whatever. They are very nice both performance and sound wise. But are also like $500, so I gotta play it a lot longer before making that investment.
