gingermilk Just finished reading the latest chapter of a random little manga I saw on fedi called "The Dragon, the Hero, and the Courier". It's fine, basically a comedy about the struggle between mages and the government. Nothing special, but it's fun enough.
As for recommendations, I'd like to recommend two mangas I read somewhat recently. Both them are from the same author, "Matsumoto Jiro", a guy who really likes to write 'dirty' stories. Basically he likes lots of sex, violence, drugs and shitty people.
First one is "Freesia", a story about 'literally me'. He's a paranoid schizophrenic with some sort of pseudo-superpower to blend into his environment, and he uses that power to carry out his duty as the country's best female police officer. This one's great and I think everyone in this thread will at least find it to be "Alright, but not my thing". It's a little long, but it has that kind of mainstream appeal that everyone seems to be drawn to so much. I actually didn't like it as much as I thought I would, but overall I think it was a great read.
Give it a try, you'll like it.
Second one's "Joshikouhei" and holy shit is this one great. Well, it starts off really badly and I dropped it twice within the first 15 chapters, but it progressively gets better as the story progresses and by the end I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see how it'll end. It made me feel something very few mangas or animes made me feel, a genuine anticipation of what will happen next. Besides that, the visuals are very creative and a certain rape scene made me genuinely laugh because of how fucking ridiculous the dialogue was. This one's not for everyone though, I wouldn't blame you if you dropped it after a few chapters and wrote it off as boring and slow or silly and pretentious. If you stick with it though, you'll get your money's worth.
