Inauthenticity in videos

I am so tired of these videos that sometimes pop up in my recommended feed. I don't know what it is exactly about them, but I've grown disdain towards them....

i use YT as a music player 80% of the time. The other 20% isn't too terrible since I've sculpted my recommendations for the most part. Every now and then it spazzes out, but you just build it back up again. My bigger issue is with the dogass UI and how they keep making it worse. I totally blocked out shorts using ublock origin, but I can't bring back the subscriptions page being sorted by date or anything useful like that 🙁

I don't get recommended much slop anymore because I spent a good amount of time watching content that doesn't anger me, and flagging channels as not interested , and content as not interested.

They dont know their field, its not their expertise, but they are willing to try and explore niche things. I really like their video on the old photo printer. Its how i found them actually as I saw a friend use one and thought the process was neat how they print.

Social media has always been performative, but is funny to see a lot of these people have karma bite them back. People are just very averse from being perceived as outside a group despite it not having a real impact on anything.
