On the actual poll: For the sake of sanity, I'm assuming the choices to be between the most cliche forms of the monsters.
When it comes to actually managing the condition, the fact that, uh, werewolf-ness only occurs around once every month means it's probably overall the easier choice at least. Just find someone who is willing to lend a sturdy room until you stop wolfing.
I'm more aroused by vampires, though, as a fictomasochist galore.
Somnolence I did see someone on the /hsg/ threads on /tg/ suggest a reverse of the idea; vampires as druggies looking for their next fix of blood, and werewolves having a monthly hunt of the Most Dangerous Game.
Ross_R Fun fact: There is a species of moth that has been found to drink blood if given the opportunity.
Ross_R Not sure if the playstyle of the game is my thing, but those are some cute wolfies.
My own thoughts: I personally like seeing unusual takes on the monsters. Whether from using influences from obscure myths, or just changing the animal motifs. I also love any opportunity for body horror from either side. I recall once seeing on Tumblr a werewolf whose wolf-form is twisted in a way that resembles a child's drawing of a dog that was pretty freaky.
Extra animal fact: There is a jumping spider that is a vampire by proxy; it prefers to feed on mosquitoes that have recently drank blood.
