Lumeinshin In general I still think the themeing and designs of vampire stuff is better executed
And, well, at least you've posted something to add some weight behind your words. Whole thread - and there's only Fantasy's anime girl on vampire's side. Pathetic. Might've gotten the edge in the OP's poll, but what's the point if the thread's all werewolf? I already started to think I will have to post vampires myself, since vampire lovers seem unable to do it for whatever reason.
Which I actually will do anyway. Starting with the most awesome vampire of all times:

What? You don't know what it is? Puh-lease. And you call yourself a vampire fan? You ain't no vampire fan until you've saw Upir Z Feratu.
Also, I've been going through my movie collection, restructuring it carefully, and it prompted me to take a glance and many movies I watched at some point, including 2004's Van Helsing.
Man. It's still awesome. Do not care what anyone says. The graphics hold on perfectly! Well, for the most part. There are several bad scene, alright, but I saw much worse. And, once again, for the most part - it's darn perfect. Check these vampires:

Notice the lightwork, the layers, the blending... Second screenshot especially. Multiple layers, people moving everywhere, vampires are actually grabbing a few out of the crowd, lifting them, and there are more people closer and farther to the viewer, all that - and everything is done spot on. Seamlessly. All these graphics are just so well done, chef's kiss. I've seen so much worse.
And the close ups? Gorgeous as well, IMO. Those are great models.
In case you haven't watched, this movie has werewolves too, and they are just as awesome:

As a matter of fact, these are the best werewolves I've ever saw in a movie. My opinion, of course, but still. I can only name two movies that come anyhow close - let me know if I should drop the names and more screens - but Van Helsing is still the best. The models are just awesome. They actually look like wolves, rather than a human with an ugly hairy mug.
And I never made this connection back in 2000's, but now that I took these screenshots, they actually remind me of worgen from World Of Warcraft. Really-really remind me of worgen. Right, I'll just say: I think someone from Blizzard just used this design right away. They are similar down to the lack of the tail and positions of the ears.
To top it all off, Van Helsing also has vampire-versus-werewolf fight in the very end!
And as a P.S. - more kudos to Van Helsing, as aside from werewolves and vampires, there's also Frankenstein's monster and other guys, who use more make-up rather than special effects, and I gotta say make-up is awesome as well. As well as are decorations. And practical effects. And so on.
Man. It's really an awesome movie. Everything's is done so well in it, on all sides, and everything works together... I do not see things like these often. I'd say it's almost on par with Terminator 2 or something, in terms of the whole... setup, if you know what I mean. There are not much movies like this out there. If there's a weak link in Van Helsing, well... I guess, the plot could've been better... But, well, that's off the topic, I guess.
