According too my creative writing teacher the best solution to a dead end is to bullshit your way out of it (or "to deus ex machina your way out" as she put it lol) and hope the reader won't notice or at least not get too bothered by the asspull because it's better to have an okay finished story than an unfinished masterwork. But then again that is easier said than done if you happen to be a perfectionist that has trouble accepting your work won't be as good as you think it should lol. Either way I'll be rooting for you to keep the motivation going till the end. If you feel like showing us any of the ones you did finish you could always make a thread for for it. Maybe we'll have more people show up and share too which would be neat.

Funny, I had Remnant 2 show up in my steam queue, it caught my eye because it had a pretty cool aesthetic. Same for limiting my time spent on gaming, I'm trying to focus on finishing a couple of books in my queue.

I fall more into the perfectionist category, I'd rather not finish a work than half-ass it haha. Though I'm not obsessively perfectionist, thank goodness. Thanks a lot for the support mate! I'll likely bump the Project thread or make a writing-specific thread once I'm ready, that seems like the appropriate thing to do.

Remnant 2 is pretty fun, it's basically Dark Souls with guns. I cleared the base game with mouse and keyboard, so no worries on that front. If you enjoy exploring and getting frustrated by puzzles and hidden secrets alongside the action combat, then Remnant 2 is a good pick.

What do you spend most of your time doing, tell us about it! Do you have any specific goals or aspirations related to that activity?

If I'm not at work (part time at around 20-30 hours a week), I'm usually either wasting time on the internet doing... something. It's hard to explain since I genuinely have no idea how to explain all the time I spend on here, I'm sure some people here can understand that. I'm into the typical nerdy stuff like anime and reading, not so much gaming anymore. I'm also a beekeeper and I guess my goals/aspirations are directly linked to that. I hope to eventually build up my hive numbers to a level where I can make that my primary, if not sole source of income. I'll want to buy some land where I can build a shed house (in my mind it's basically just a shed with a granny flat kind of thing connected to it for me to live in), have the bulk of my hives and just live my days out there. Venturing out to sell honey and buy stuff I need before going back home to be on my own.

If you had to summarise yourself in 1-2 short sentences, what would you say?

I'm lazy and I don't really know how to talk about myself, so I'm just going to leave the post in it's entirety to answer that question.

Food. A lifetime of unhealthy eating is slowly being fought back, I've effectively removed soft drink from my diet and all liquid calories comes from milk or protein powder.

I was always fascinated by bee keeping. Do you plant the flowers for them yourself or let em go into the wild for the polen? I got into mead making a couple years ago and I really liked how honey from different flowers tasted wildly different as well and produced very distinct blends when fermented.

We just put hives on people's properties and let the hives go for it. The majority of our hives are out in the bush, so there's plenty of local trees, grasses and flowers for the bees. If I eventually get land then I'll be mostly just leaving it as natural as possible, outside of the small bit for my house yard.

I love learning. My career is on science so I spend most of my free time learning about history, humanities, politics, and sociology. I also draw and watch vtubers, and enjoy playing old games (right now finishing Baldur's Gate 1 for the first time).

A curious mind that loves taking care of others. I love physical exercise and cute stuff.

Boomer shooters. The build engine has something special that makes it extra satisfying to kill enemies in there. I have played Doom (1982) more times than I can count and I always try to grab and play the latest release that follows in its footsteps.

In terms of what I do at this particular moment? Well, it's usually playing retro video games (currently going through Mischief Makers on the N64) or listening to music (at the moment, mostly metal). But generally, my interests include: retro video games, anime, music (both in composition and listening, I especially have a taste for heavy metal and progressive rock, but I enjoy video game music and other sorts of electronic music as well), linguistics and history (something I aspire to do as a career God willing).

I'd say that I'm a generally chill individual. I'm an Arab, Muslim, and relatively religious. I don't know what else to put here.

Peppy melodic electronic music. All the way from Eurodance to happy hardcore music. God, that stuff gets me going and it is slightly embarrassing LOL.

i’ve been a freelance artist most of my life but it’s something I’m doing professionally now, in college and stuff.

i spend most of my time either on vidya, watching stuff (been trying to get out of the habit of mindlessly watching YouTube) and exercising, especially riding my bike. one of my goals is to get better again at drawing. I used to be pretty good but just stopped for a long time.

I browse the internet, read books, watch anime and movies, and listening to music. I can find a lot of things interesting and have read books on loads of subjects but I mainly enjoy programming and maths but I've lost a lot of motivation, in general, over the last year or two and end up wasting my days. I have a friend whom I talk with a lot and also recently have started talking more on imageboards, textboards, BBS's, and forums. I play games from time to time and logic puzzles like sudoku and kakuro are fun. I have no clue what I'm doing or where I'm going.
I've also kept up writing whatever schizophrenic mind vomit I have in notebooks.

Very asocial, but if there is something that interests me and I'm in the mood I can talk. I hate answering questions like these because I find that I don't actually know.

What do you spend most of your time doing

Writting assigments for my last year of education. I also spend a lot of time talking about personal stuff with users from other sites, giving them advice. My main hobby is creating and fixing mods for Crusader Kings 2, as I have not bought into the hype that surroundes the bloated mess that is Crusader Kings 3, which robbed a better game of its best mod makers.

I love talking with people and sharing thoughts. I'm eager to learn but am bad with failure, so I have to start being less harsh with myself in order to truly help others and excel at what I love.

I try to spend time drawing, although lately I have barely done that due to university and work. I have been reading way more. I would like to turn drawing into a job sometime. I also really like learning languages, Im Portuguese and know English and Im currently learning japanese and mandarin. Ive been learning japanese for a year and I feel like Im doing pretty well for a year since I can already read and watch a lot of things. But I might be wrong.

I don't really know how to describe myself, I'm open to most people and like making friends. My goal in life is really just to be happy with what I do, if I sometime finally enjoy what I create I will be happy.

I don't have a specific one, I change my current interests constantly. Some comfort Shows I have are Moral Orel, South Park,Rick and Morty and Mob Psycho. I watched Moral Orel in 2020 and it stayed with me I rewatched it quite a few times and have written some fanfictions before wich a lot of people seemed to like.
My favorite book is The Little Prince by Antoine Exupéry and I don't have a favorite vidya since I don't play a lot, maybe Space Funeral.

Hope to meet some new people here and get better at what I like to do, I really just want to he happy.
