I’ve been enjoying TOTK maybe more than breath of the wild. It hits that dumb silly fun sometimes with the building, but that’s one of its flaws are the puzzles are just bizarre sometimes it feels like you cheese them. It’s a flawed game still, the dungeons are okay, the world is a little bit more alive. The sky islands are so disappointing honestly, they are just too copy pasted. It’s worth giving a shot but if you’re sick of your open world games it’s hard to get into.
My favorite Zelda game is Ocarina of Time. It’s the only one I played as a kid. I recently replayed the ship of harkinian pc port and I think it’s one of my favorites games of all time. It made me realize I don’t like the grind of the recent open world Zelda’s. In OoT you can get by with just doing the main route to finish the game comfortably, but side stuff is a nice bonus. I had started twilight princess a while back and it made me want to go through OoT again first. So now I’m back to twilight princess. May be strange to play a couple Zelda’s at the same time, but they’re so different of games. I like twilight so far and will finish it.
