I'm going to get a custom flag with his quote "Sometimes reasonable men must do unreasonable things" in the killdozer gadsden style. Kriegsflagge is cool af. I have an nsdap one. I had the stars and bars (7 star) out for two weeks before hanging up the whisky rebellion. Is your Iroquois flag the purple one with the squares? That is fucking cool as fuck and I have to get one. It's sad purple is so rare on flags. Do you fly yours outside?

And yes, it's the purple one!! Natives are super cool. I also have a bunch of confederate flags since I love their design, like the 2nd and 1st flags of theirs. OH, and I also added a soviet rescue ops flag to the collection but I haven't hung it up yet (pic rel).
I hang them up inside since I don't want them wearing and tearing, although I'm running out of wall space. >_<
TBH, I think any kind of flag with actual designs and ornate details is above flags that are simply tricolored, and then African and some Caribbean flags are my least favorites since I do not like their color selections. Hbu?

It was either Gigachad or Gandilf the muscle wizard. I have a sonnenrad too. I see what you mean by any flag with details is ok but you really should look at US city flags before you say that. It's like a competition for shit flag designs. I got lucky and my city has one of the few good designs. I hang all mine (except the nsdap and sonnenrad) outside. I've gotta be the weird flag guy everybody looks at as they drive by. Meme flags included. Tricolor can be ok if you have a collective that uses it like the Nordic countries and their cross. Although Central europe kinda fails at this. I really like the heraldry on old flags or even flags like the German states (I only use them as an example cause I know what their flags look like).

My dad always said that I collected collections when I was growing up, so I guess this is a great thread to go from lurker to poster. Like many others in this thread I own a lot of books. It's nice to be able to borrow them to friends and then talk about it after. Or whenever I get the urge to reread something it's right within my reach.

One of my most peculiar collections, I think, is my teaware collection. I don't have a recent collective picture, but you guys can have a snap of one set for now.

I'm not really an active collector but I do have a fair number of artbooks. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit a lot of gallery's and museums when I was a teenager so its mostly traditional artists, but I also have a few anime art books I picked up from conventions.

Unfortunately I don't have a photo of my shelf on hand, but it is kinda funny to see Rembrandt next to Range Murata.

I'd like to collect guns but tbh it's an expensive hobby that's way out of my reach atm. I do have some guns but they're all practical modern stuff that I actually use (a shotgun, my glock, a generic AR, etc), not really anything properly collectible. I'd love to have some WWI/II era stuff, or weird foreign/uncommon guns.
Unless you want to count reaction images for 4chan, I don't think I've got any other collections. I used to collect foreign currency when I was a kid but I sold it before leaving for college, which I kinda regret doing now because it's not like I even needed the money that bad. Maybe I'll get back to it later in life.

I moved my desktop tower to a different spot to hopefully help with cooling. Normally I keep it under my desk but this summer I will be without AC and that's probably not going to work. While I was at it decided to re-cable my entire desk. It's not cleaner since it was pretty clean before, but it did allow me to try out vertical monitors for a bit. Not sure how I feel about it, my monitor mount isn't a very good one and doesn't let me have the monitors at different heights so the vertical one goes above and below the horizontal one by 4-5 inches on both sides. Whatever I put at the tops and bottoms gets used sparingly but is also harder to see. But I think this will over time strain my neck less since I used to look way far to the side to see certain stuff. Not it's just a slight up or down.

I was about to start discussion on physical vidiya collecting.
I like collecting physical releases of video games even though I mostly buy digital games.
Hobby does have some issues. Since I am pcfag, some games just never get physical releases(Nier Automata for example)
Additionally for them its usually bit more difficult to find physical copies than for consoles.

Also here are few of my opinions on game collecting.
Its good until it turns into hoarding.

Buying physical games to play them? Good
Buying physical versions of games you like? Good
Buying games you never played/dont like but they are part of your favourite franchise? Good but less
Being gifted games you dont really care? Slight hoarding but an exception because they were a gift
Buying game you find cool even though not into the game? Good but less

Buying full libraries? Hoarding
Buying games as an investment? You are a speculator, kill yourself.

You can also see that I also like to collect car models, might expand on it some day.
