We communicate using 'posts' and 'replies' contained within 'threads'. Threads are the overarching topic (such as this thread you just created, named "HELP!!"), whereas posts/replies are an individual's addition to that overarching topic. You open whichever thread apeals to you (For example the Film, Videogame, Music, threads) and post a reply to express how you feel about that topic, or how you feel about another post contained in that thread. You can attach images or embed links if you like, which is especially useful when providing examples about music or online videos. You can like/dislike posts in the bottom right of said post to quickly present how you feel about it.
