ripgrep: A clone of the classic grep, except it's like super fast! In the last year I had to work on really big codebases and this tool saved my ass so much time. I have no idea how it does it but it's complete magic to me.
I often use this when working on a big codebase, with the classic grep I had to filter folders or I had to wait like 20-30 seconds for the search to print results. With ripgrep I don't even have to do that, just type rg "something" . and it's instant
Photopea: it's not really Linux software, it's a webapp but it's a damn good one. They even have AI art tools integrated, no setup needed. I first found it because I wanted to make a stupid meme for a group chat, I found it so good that I got a lot more ideas and made 5 of them.
