My Win XP desktop. I have many systems installed, and threfore many tops, but I ain't gonna lie: I pretty much only use one system - the one that I posted. Well, the laptop and the workhorse PC also get a decent mileage, but XP is one of the oldies that shines only at the times when I'm unable to launch some old game on Win 7. And out of old PCs, Win XP is desktop is definitely the most interesting one.
I actually made this screen way back in the previous summer, yet never posted it here. I was playing American Chopper 2 on it. And I actually posted screenshots from the game too... but not the desktop. It just slipped my mind.
Since that summer my old machine actually suffered a breakdown: motherboard gone bust. Luckily, just about a month ago I finally ordered not one, but two motherboards of the same kind. I was lucky: the model I had installed is both plentiful and dirt cheap these days around. Both motherboards are working - heck, one of them was so clean, I'd swear it came straight from the factory if the seller wouldn't have told otherwise. So, I installed one and the other one is a spare. Hopefully, my XP machine still has years of work ahead.
