Definitely warm. 20C is Winter Temperature. I'm not a fan of that either, though I was fortunate to be born in the mountains, so I was raised with more reasonable temperatures. The whole problem comes when you leave the cover of the mountains and realize temperatures can reach over 30C, which, if you'll check, you'll realize it is around the temperature humans can handle normally. So merely standing around, existing, will get very sweaty. I hear it's even worse for you Euros who aren't accustomed to these highs, especially if they come in your home field where everything conspires to keep the temperatures as high as possible because of how cold it normally is.
Pon I'm very curious about those European refugees, there are certainly countries here that are more controlling and oppressive than others, though by the standards of most of the world its probably pretty tame.
The word "refugee" is doing a lot of work here, I'd classify them as early preppers of some kind, personally. Their main issues when I talked to them about it were property rights and the changing culture, seems some countries in Europe are getting very strict about property ownership, to around the point where you "own" the house but the Government will take what's theirs. What I believe is the trouble is that these people are seeing the changes and deciding that they don't like the odds for their family, and moving somewhere calmer. We here have a lot of diaspora as mentioned because of how easy it is to move here, you just need money and some patience. If you're feeling worried about the future, I can see why it makes sense you to move here. Otherwise, I'll agree that, at least for now, things are still much better in Europe than in the rest of the world. I'd still rather move there than the US, but I understand the worries.
I remember wanting to visit the UK in the past for example, but with recent events showing they're increasingly anti-privacy, anti-expression, and incompetent when it comes to real crime, I've decided to avoid it if I ever move to Europe.
