I watched chinese movie Day Tripper a year ago. It was awesome, like seeing Wes Anderson, but in realities way closer to my own country, therefore the picture is, like... It resonates with me way more. And might seem way more alien (and therefore interesting) to americans and europeans.
A year later the movie still hasn't got any kind of release, and so I'm starting to afraid it will forever remain a pleasure for selected few only. I really hope it's not the case, and that Day Tripper will get some kind of disclosure ultimately, because the movie definitely deserves a wider audience.
