My recent buys have been the second and third Exorcist movie, a history of guns, a history of Britain, and a Spanish movie. I love having physical movies and tv series. I used to buy CDs as well, but my new car has no CD player so there is no point in them anymore. Now I only by DVDs. I have to have nearly a hundred of them by now. I usually buy horror movies because those are my favorite, or I'll buy documentaries. I used to buy anime. I've fallen out of love with it because most of it doesn't interest me anymore.
There aren't any requirements for my collection. The media only has to be interesting for me to buy it. I usually buy from a specific second hand store because they have a huge selection of things, and they are cheap. There have been times I've bought something there for a third of the price I would have paid online. There have been multiple times I'll buy something i have never seen before on impulse because it is cheap, and looks interesting.

That's so cool and convenient. I have a bookshelf full of DVDs and books. I would use something like that for burning things on disk that I couldn't find in store.
