I live in a tropical environment. This time of year the monsoon begins to withdraw, so the season of "stank summer" becomes summer. We don't have winter, instead we have maybe two weeks of a wet cold that resembles a late October in western Europe.
I grew up in a continental climate and autumn was by far my favorite season. The refreshing cool and crisp air, still nights, Halloween decorations, golden farm fields, brilliant leaves of the sugar maples.... it was peak cozy. I would actually get in incredibly good shape as every night I would go for a 10 kilometer run. I didn't run for the purpose of getting in shape but more for enjoying the weather and experiencing a tranquilly calm autumn night.
Winter is also a wonderful season (if there's snow) but autumn is the season that I have always loved and come to miss.
