CK2. I could never get into the other map games but holy shit, CK2 makes the hours slip away like nothing else. It's the only game that can genuinely make me lose track of time when playing.

Factorio is digital crack. You play a 12 hour sesh, then you dream about it, think about it at work, and when you get home you do another 12 hour sesh.
There's a DLC coming out in just under 2 months that looks like it's gonna double to triple the amount of shit you can do. I look forward to dropping off the face of the earth when that happens.

I used to have this phone game gasp I know called Archero installed on my phone.. two? phones ago.
Its basically a roguelite of sorts where you beat stages that get harder and harder, get gear etc.
I recently reinstalled it as the only game except Wordle on my phone and I have to admit it takes up a good bit of time when im waiting for a train/bus or other "nothing else to do" scenarios

I haven't spent any money but they're generous enough to where I don't have to.
Gotta say though, I am a fiend for a bit of Hearthstone: Battlegrounds if i'm talking to a friend and waiting to do something else or watching a video on the weekends 😆

Neon White. the soundtrack was made by one of my favorite artists, and the gameplay is really fun. It's a movement shooter.

Cyberpunk 2077 for when I'm home, and a mobile game called Crash Fever for when I'm outside. The JP version of Crash Fever is the only one available so unfortunately I don't play it as much as I used to, but It's a fun time waster when I'm waiting in queues or just out and about somewhere.

oh, it's absolutely worth it. the dialogue is the kind of cringe (in a funny way), and if you can overlook it the overarching plot is a really cool concept. the gameplay is also really dynamic and there are several options for replay if you like completionism. plus the characters are hot.

Ross_R yeah and if the game is always constantly updating and has been around for years it gets boring eventually anyways and there'll be some small group of people who like an older version of the game it's happen mutiple times before

Victoria 2 seems to be the game that always eats up my time. Silly because it's just a slow ass map painter with a junk infamy system to keep you from just steamrolling the map too quickly.

The game is super fun I personally suck at killing titans, however I really like swinging around and gaining momentum
