Only notable event that happened this Thanksgiving was that my mom melted the rubber seal on my moka pot, so I'm having to wake up with normal drip coffee instead of my usual.
Besides that we spent turkey day watching football. Cowboys, Packers, and 49ers all won so it was a turkeyball to go with the turkey day. Pretty much everyone we were rooting for.
Our actual turkey day is tomorrow. Parents and I are visiting grandpa and my sister and her boyfriend are coming into town tomorrow. We're doing prep today; mom's making cranberry sauce and other fixings and I'll be baking a sweet potato pie once we can clear some of the other leftovers out of the fridge and make room.
I'm too lazy to put up with Black Friday stuff so I can't really comment on sales or anything. Will say I own a Casio (the World Time one, with the little timezone map) and I quite like it. I got one of those woven bands to replace the plastic one and wear it pretty much every day. If you need a watch that you can wear while doing work the Casios seem hard to beat.
