I've been playing this revamp of an old psp homebrew. It's an open source recreation of Call of Duty World at War: Zombies in the Quake engine (technically a mash of its various sourceports, but you get the gist).
I've been enjoying it and it gets updated very frequently with fixes for issues found and has custom maps. I've considered making some myself if I get the time. Looks easy and a fun way to spend some time away from work. AND IT RUNS ON A REAL PSP STILL
Github Link to the project here
- Runs on near enough anything: PSP | Vita | Windows | Linux | 3DS | Android
- Open Source
- Maps able to be made via Trenchboom
- Drag and drop custom map folder contents into nzp folder where the game is
Another game worth mentioning, SRB2 Kart had a rebrand and major overhaul a little while back in the form of Dr Robotnik's Ring Racers. I actually didnt really like it that much when i first downloaded the new version but i've grown to appreciate it more now.
They went ham on the UI and making it feel like a professional experience.
