shewasacarpenter I have had the best luck in replacing the need of having to browse 4chan with small, niche imageboards
What is the goal of doing that ? Depending on what boards you browse, 4chan can be an instructional and productive place. Of course spending hours browsing /b is not the best use of your time, but neither is browsing almost any subreddit. It really only comes down to how you want to use your time.
Lumeinshin i've developed a mental filter to disregard some threads instantly.
I really can relate to this, I am so used to browse this kind of places that I make an automatic and clear distinction between what is interesting, shitpost, troll, or actual schizoposting. Browsing any toxic forum is more about searching for the nuggets of good content than taking posts literally.
