So, as I've mentioned, vocal synths are pretty much my thing. The bulk of my work is (often horrifying) fanart for various obscure UTAUs. I'm also going through a bit of a SynthV phase, mainly centered around the Starry Court vocals.

Someone has made a bot for showcasing various submitted UTAU, so that's a good start if any of you want to get into the deeper side.

The Starry Court vocals got a new demo around Christmas at it's pretty cute.

I remember being about 5 years old or something and my sister was playing a Hatsune Miku rendition of Poker Face with my cousins or something. That was my first ever exposure to Vocaloid anything ever. I looked back at it a few years ago and I got hit with a wave of nostalgia. It's a little dated now but it has a place in my heart

Fantasy

My best experiences with Vocaloids have been from rhythm games. I really like the Project Diva series. Not a fan of the touch mobile game but the PSP games and Future Tone are fantastic. I also enjoyed the IA game for the Vita. I still have my collector's edition. Though my case is worn since I used it for a few years.

It came with a lot of stuff. Gameplay was different enough from Project Diva that I think they could have continued it on as a series. It was a bit easy but that's what later games are for. Every rhythm game, or most of them, have really easy tracks initially and as the community and mappers get better harder songs are made. It's a shame it's largely forgotten. There also hasn't really been a new Project Diva game either since the phone game makes so much money.
