For half to third of the cost you could just get a raspberry pi kit with the fake Nintendo case.
Those mini snes would have been a much cooler value if they had either the library or like 200 games instead of 20(or was it 30?). There's no reason they couldn't have done that. Would have been a great way for someone to have an "official" source for their old roms. May have also brought down the price on some of the retro carts if there were a secondary physical format people could get. These things were such a missed opportunity. Instead they were a cheap cash grab.
That being said, I did want one but they cost too much and I'm not paying a scalper. I last played metal slug with my wiimotes and the home brew channel like decade ago.
