I mean... those are shit, but if you did that without prior training, then you definitely have a lot of potential.
Just give up and pick up a fine arts anatomy book.
You can find them at any local library. It's as good as free. (Don't just Google it, that won't help you.)
Learn realism first and then move to comic book style (or whatever the hell that is).
Learn to follow the basic rules, then you can skew them to fit what features you want to emphasize, or what you want to express.

Larry I can see where you're coming from, but calling them shit is kinda harsh. The art style definitely looks rough, but it's an appealing kind of rough that has a charm to it. In general, i find that amateur art has a certain feel in it that more professional looking art lacks. OP, if you're reading this thread and you want to improve your art skills, take Larry's advice and pick up some anatomy books. I also recommend watching random artists live streams on youtube if you can find them and observe what they do. Don't necessarily copy them, but learn from them.
Of course, the most important thing to know if you want to become an artist is to never browse /ic/. There are more crabs on that board than a sea food restaurant

Larry No, I have no training and those were just freehand while in class, lol. For fun, not professional at all. Thanks for the input, I should really learn better anatomy and realism but y'know, it's fun to doodle aimlessly hahaha

It does sound rough, but when it comes to art, especially drawing, not telling the artist what you really feel about their work is doing them a massive disservice. In the end you want your art to be seen, and you need to express your imagination in a way that can reach people. For that you need to know how they feel about it, and most will never tell you.

I got some background in art (stuck somewhere between psychology and serial arson) so I do want to go in depth with the pointers now that I know the thread's active.
