There have been Starfield leaks showing that the size of each planets isnt "the whole planet" but about 10 minutes of travel or so on a speeder (of some description). Is that an issue for you? were you under the impression that the game was going to even feature larger worlds?
Personally, this might be rude to bethesda a bit, but so long as the core mechanics are decent enough and the main quest is fun enough, I dont really mind much else, I know that modders will do a good job making it a great experience down the line. It is a bad standard to have because if the game isnt really good on its own it shouldnt get a pass.
Also Gigachad I did buy Endless Space 2 a couple months back on a sale and am gonna sit down to give it a good go in future, it seems fun going by the Sseth video on it on YouTube.
