I've never been a fan of Valentine's, to be honest. Not opposed to affection mind you, just dont like the commercialism. I'll probably spend it having a beer and winding down after work, maybe watch some Toonami Aftermath.

Can't believe it's already that time of the year again. I never really got upset when valentine's day rolled around, mostly because it's not really much of an important holiday in the grand scheme of things, especially if you happen to browse websites like these on a regular basis. Most of us may have no gf but at least we got... whatever may interest us to keep us company. And don't forget your family too, call your mother, father or anyone in your family and let them know you appreciate them. You're not as alone as you might think you are.

Not thrilled about Valentine's as it's another product of americanisation. Less concerned about the lack of a gf. One thing that I do like about Valentine's is that my favourite pastry is always on sale: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanilla_hearts
I usually buy some to share with my parents, though they are traveling this week so I'll be eating them alone this year.

Hope everyone is having a nice valentine's day 
. Did not plan for this but I ended up buying some beer on the way home on a whim and now I'm watching Space Dandy/Naruto with my cat. Unfortunately my grocery store did not have any vanilla hearts today, but I thought this might happen so I made some at home yesterday, though they're squares rather than hearts.
