Hearing some of you talk about Heyuri positively is disheartening. The guy who owns it is a psychopath, a faggot, and a scat fetish.

Psychopath: he allows invasion threads, including discussion of uploading of CSAM.
Faggot + 3. Scat Fetishist: he allowed multiple threads about scat fetish to stay up.

I had a VPN for three months just to spam the site with frogs and 'jaks.

A site I like it campendium.com it tells you where you can park your RV. I spend $10 a day on food, $5 a day on other stuff, because I live in an RV: its so cheap.

denpa just went on Tohno real quick, and…those are a lot of rules. I get it, there’s so much wrong with 4chan currently, but…just chill, already. Was it always like that?

I used to browse Tohno-chan a bit over 10 years ago. I don't remember what the rules precisely were back then, but I do remember somebody getting banned for claiming/admitting that they were a girl. For lack of a better way of phrasing it, Tohno-chan was always intended to be a safe space for dysfunctional male losers (that might sound harsh but just browse the /so/ and /mai/ boards and see for yourself.) One of my friends once decided to troll there by posting a thread about how he turned his life around by going to church and volunteering, he was permanently banned within an hour for that. There's the famous saying that "misery loves company", and that's basically Tohno-chan.

following on from my prior post, A little shout out of sorts goes to https://wapchan.org/
They are a smaller imageboard focused on older anime/manga. I've been popping on and lurking a fair bit. I think my older anime tastes are too cheesy and slightly embarrassing to post about so i've put it off, maybe on a quiet evening i'll post there.
They have a site redesign in the works too
Definitely worth a peek!

For me it's hitchwiki.org and hitchmaps.com, they are SUPER useful for hitchhiking, they tell you exactly where to stand in any city and it mostly works. I recommend doing a hitchhiking tour at least once in your life. I did it from Norway to Iraq and back and wouldn't have achieved it without this. Well, in Iraq and southeastern Turkey the roads are so bad you can hitch anywhere but still

I had a little look, seems cool, if its custom made its impressive for sure. There's a couple niggles with some pages missing ie about section and the layout on mobile but otherwise that anon has done a good job, I guess you saw it via an ad on 4chan?

I like to check on heyuri.net every now and again, comfy board culture for casual perusing. The Ayashii world thing they have is fun as well, a little glimpse into the Japanese internet culture of the past. Any Heyurians here?

I don't know. Lainchan's server costs 55$ per month, so that might give an idea of the total cost of heyuri.

The nanosphere is pretty much dead anyway. It is just too easy to host things on tor/i2p nowadays. As a result most of those image boards are now long dead and to be honest I think it's better that way.

EDIT: I posted a list of imageboards akin to 4chan, but the list had a few .onion sites, so I thought it'd be a good idea to delete it. I don't want people going there.
