Somnolence Plakis Morakis Plaky Unfortunately I think we've already peaked early. Moths may in fact be the coolest insects. I did come across a channel the other day which was kinda neat. It's probably pretty well known to bug fans. "AntsCanada" is a channel focused around this guy's terrarium / vivarium projects. It mostly covers insects (ants chief among them) but it's sometimes about spiders or other small critters. The host is insanely melodramatic but the actual content is quite good, and I've learned a lot just watching.
Plakis Morakis Plaky I've heard of the channel, but generally I prefer less "serialized" sorts of content. Today I did find a cherry millipede. It did have that artificial cherry flavor scent.
Plakis Morakis Plaky Recently I found out that the larva of the white witch moth was recently identified. Luckily, it's just as pretty as the adult. ...maybe this could be a Bug/Dragon pseudo-legendary fakemon...
Somnolence Plakis Morakis Plaky Insane looking larva, kinda menacing. The moth is absolutely phenomenal though. Where do you go to get 'insect news'?
Plakis Morakis Plaky Somnolence It mainly pops up in that newsfeed that appears when you swipe to the left on the leftmost screen of an android phone. As can be gathered from my previous post, I don't always learn about things at the time of discovery.
Plakis Morakis Plaky Bumping this thread with a type of flatworm that I didn't know about (amazingly at this point), that looks like a cartoony Cthulhu. Evidently they like to hitch rides on crustaceans.
Exodite I've owned a few praying mantises over the years, all found in the wild. They're probably my favorite insect. I also found this Regal Moth last week, the photo doesn't do it justice but it was the size of my hand.
