theotherpeopleplace I just finished a full count of the video games I have yet to play. This only includes games that I purchased (emulation and ROMs do not count). Including all of my physical and digital purchases across various consoles, I have a grand total of 161 games that I have not yet played. How did I end up with so many games? Various reasons: I buy a game thinking it's cool, and then college, life, work, and other stuff takes me away from vidya. But I'm going to change that. I am going to play all of the games on this list. I will not buy a new game until it is done. I will update this thread as I progress. How long will it take? Who knows...
Lumeinshin theotherpeopleplace Don't worry, you're basically the same as I was in that regard. We'll see how you get along lol
Ross_R theotherpeopleplace Fancy. I store my backlog in a simple txt. It has 640 titles so far. It's not a chore for me though. I mean, it's not like I even aim to clear it one day. Just a comfortable wishlist to keep track of things.
theotherpeopleplace Finished a game off the list: From Russia with Love It was alright. The boss battles are laughably easy. Honestly, the game felt rather shallow. Was cool seeing Sean Connery voice Bond again. An okay game that hasn’t aged particularly well. Would only recommend if you’re a big Bond fan. Even then, I’d skip it and just watch the movie.
Sandro theotherpeopleplace I've played this one. Even as a kid it wasn't particularly great, but I liked the artstyle. I have a soft spot for it since me and the cul-de-sac kids would play it multiplayer. Shoutout to the Anthrax gun that basically one shots you in 10 seconds. And the tiny concrete clown car on the secret base map.
theotherpeopleplace Finished another game on my backlog: Tarzan Untamed. This is quite possibly the longest game I had on the backlog. 20 years. I had it as far back as 2003. As a kid I could never get past the first level because it was so hard. Today I finished it in one sitting. Took me around 4 hours. It was hard. Not worth playing, but it was actually somewhat fun. Felt way too short, and the story felt too shallow. Two games down, 158 more to go.
Jay Prey is alright, I would give it a quick go, not to long of a shooter, shame the multiplayer is DEAD. also killer7 is good but that ending is a big heartbreaker. Gravity rush 2? uhhhhh based?
Jay Speaking of yakuza, I just beat judgement yesterday, and that game is pretty good. That's all. (I know no one brought it up but regardless)
Broncowave3000 Damn and I thought my backlog was big. I have a backlog list across 4 different plataforms and one of them is a FAT PS2 that I bought for dirty cheap and modded with a HDD with shit ton of games. So far I have only beated Ace Combat 4 and 5.
theotherpeopleplace Update: I gave up on the backlog. Sold a majority of my games. It ain’t fun making it a chore.
Onyx Disco Elysium should be a top priority. What a good game. Highly recommend, it is very well written. Also good luck finishing your backlog, I've also been trying to do the same lately.
