I've been listening to Black Sabbath since High School and I've enjoyed the band on and off for a couple years
For me my favorite albums are Paranoid, Master of Reality, Never Say Die!, Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, and Dehumanizer
My favorite song is Never say die

The only "metal" band I ever listen to is Megadeth.
I'm not that big of a metal fan, so yeah.

I never liked their early works, but I really like Vol. 4 and especially Bloody Sabbath.

rarely listened to them, instead i listen to Dream Theater, Mayhem, Pestilence or others black\death metal bands (recently i discovered a new band called Extirpating the Infected and it's pretty good)

I like a little of everything music-wise, Sabbath is included. Favorite songs are probably Electric Funeral, Lord of This World, and The Thrill of it All. Last one feels triumphant in a good way.

My favorite rendition of Black Sabbath's Paranoid is when Terry A. Davis sings along to it. If you know anything about Terry Davis you'll understand why

Fantasy

There was another band I know of that around the time Black Sabbath rose to fame was also putting out music with satanic and darker themes. Their music isn't nearly as heavy but still very listenable.

Makes me wonder if Black Sabbath took off over Black Widow is only because Sabbath was heavier. Heavy music definitely at the time had a more negative connotation to it than any other form of music.
