Full Metal Panic was great and had good OP/EDs. Generally I am just a sucker for all of the anime OPs from when I was younger. I have a massive bias so I could probably list every single one I can remember as being a favourite.

It's a classic 00s opening with great visuals which didn't give too much away. It might be a bit generic by some standards and the anime has been replaced in a lot of peoples eyes by Brotherhood, but its definitely iconic. For some reason as well i've always been convinced there was a song we sung in primary school assemblies that had a very similar instrumentation/chorus.

Steins:Gate ED

Yui Sakakibara - Toki Tsukasadoru Juuni no Meiyaku

I hadn't heard anything about Steins:gate until i went into a HMV and impulse bought the anime on DVD. I watched it all very quickly and the ending had the perfect mood for when the any number of plot reveals happened and you just had to sit there and let it sink in.
I did once the vita version of the VN released play through it then and get mindblown by it as well.. and that has a fantastic soundtrack too.

Aside from me loving Tommy Heavenly6, I think the ending song was perfect for the events of the story and the visuals also kept that either hopeful or melancholic tone well.

I don't have too much to say on this one, the visuals are great, the song is great and I remember spending probably too long figuring out what the band was called. I actually own the CD for this and their Riff Rain album. Eden of the East is great and definitely overdue for a rewatch, even if you haven't seen it before!

The first Darker than Black Opening, so good people forget DtB also has a great ED. More than that, this is a damn fun song to listen to, probably because it contains some English lyrics and some "interesting" lines as a result, that and the "DARKER THAN BLACK" sliding across the screen is goddamn iconic. Hikari no Senritsu - Kalafina
The Sora no Woto Opening. Kalafina my beloved, I've never thought any of your songs were bad but this one takes the cake. This is easily one of my most listened songs ever since I found it and I'm starting to get scared of how I don't seem to get tired of it unlike other songs I've listened to dozens of times.
It fits the anime it was made for quite perfectly, although maybe it should have been swapped with the ED? The visuals are some of my favorite as well.

The first Log Horizon Opening. This is the pinnacle of a fun OP for me, just as iconic if not more iconic than Howling, the first guitar riff at the beginning, all the stupid English lines, how overkill it is - it's amusing as much as it is great.

Log Horizon gets two mentions. The Ending this time, and also a reversal of the OP. It works really nicely as an ED, it's not my favorite ED song ever and probably not my favorite ED visually but it just works.

Thanks for sharing the 'eden of the east' opening! its super striking, i dont think ive ever seen something like it quite before. but the image of pencil-missiles was way too distracting when i was supposed to be paying attention in classes >:(

My favorite intro is Made in Abyss Season 1. It's so beautifully animated, colorful, and epic. It really excites you on this adventure. I also love the music, it's awesome! The voice actresses themselves are singing as the characters! How cool is that?

My favorite outro is Little Witch Academia Season 1 (technically it's the same season in Japan but still). It's beautiful as well, and the little animation transition thingy is so fluid and nice to look. I love the little drawings showing the characters going on little adventures we never got to see in the show proper. My favorite is the one with Akko, Lotte and Sucy on the roof having a picnic, it's very charming. The music is pretty neat as well. Honestly I'm a little disappointed by Season 2's outro in comparison. It's way more minimalist and while the animation is fluid, it doesn't really stick in your mind as the first one. Also I find the music to be more generic idk.

This one should be no big surprise, it's simple, low budget, and I love it regardless. The simplicity matches the energy of the show very well, it doesn't need a special track composed by some popular band, some calming instrumentals are fine enough.

favorite OP has to be from Aoi Hana. i love the dreamy and sort of melancholic feel of the song. it pairs well with the minimalism in the animation. it doesn't do too much and it doesn't really have to.

It think it was brilliant writing actually, it showed that even great leaders you think are untouchable can die suddenly and in cruel ways, too many shows have main characters with stupid plot armour that live on to see their work flourish but thats unrealistic and not everyone gets that pleasure, even great men can suddenly croak like Napoleon dying from a illness on an island in prison and I think thats what the show tries to portray, and honestly they do it well. The only issue I have with LOTG death's is they are spread out so awkwardly, only a few extremely major characters die around the beginning and some more in the middle then like ten are clumped in within the last episode, should've been more spread out to have more of an impact.
