This is pretty wild to me tbh, as that site has been so long running I think it's been one of the few sites, especially for its content, that most would consider it a mainstay of the Internet.
There is some accusations of people who got involved with the site of conspiring to lock the site creator out and rebuttals, but we'll have to wait and see for more info I think.
There are some other sites that host romhacks and such but I think people will be hard pressed to find one quite like it.
