Richard Wagner's are always very good. Large, towering deceptions of Germanic mythology. His music's principally German, and pagan, or semi-pagan. Neo-pagan or quasi-pagan. A forest blowing in the wind, underneath the moon. A ship, up and over the waves, the crack of thunder. The blowing of horns. Teutonic fury. They're either the aforementioned (this is most of the time) or the aforementioned interspersed with mid-modern, sci-fi, technological theming. Both are great.
