Currently reading Napoleon the Great by Andrew Roberts (maybe history books should have their own thread, like on /lit/?). Very readable and strikes a perfect balance between conciseness and detail. Remarkable to what an extent it was Napoleon - and not the Revolution that built modern France. Author is clearly sympathetic to Napoleon, but not to the point that it muddles anything.
MQ How are you finding it? One of those books that's eternally been on my TBR list.
