I'm currently reading neuromancer atm. I want to read a lot more cyberpunk literature and manga, and I heard about neuromancer, so here I am. I'm currently on chapter 4. I also got the other 2 books in the neuromancer trilogy(sprawl trilogy). I may get the burning chrome book so as well

Currently reading Napoleon the Great by Andrew Roberts (maybe history books should have their own thread, like on /lit/?). Very readable and strikes a perfect balance between conciseness and detail. Remarkable to what an extent it was Napoleon - and not the Revolution that built modern France. Author is clearly sympathetic to Napoleon, but not to the point that it muddles anything.

MQ How are you finding it? One of those books that's eternally been on my TBR list.

sonoko I've read a few more pages since my last comment. It's quite interesting to see the vision of the future in the book. Something you'll notice, is that the book makes no mention of the time period or date it's set in. It doesn't say if it's 21st or 20th or 23rd century. Sometimes dates may be reference but only the last 2 digits. The plot is building though, I'm nearly half way through
