Here's my latest piece! These creatures are called "ry'el" or "hatmen" and they usually live in a place that's mostly devoid of color. These two are vacationing outside their homeland of Achromatopia.

Is anyone else here a fan of watercolor?

RegiVAPOR Provided you use the right paper for it watercolours are quite fun.
I remember when I was in school a highlight was painting a MEAN coconut in watercolour. I was super pleased with the shading i'd done on it, i'd managed to make it look a little fuzzy too.
It probably wasnt actually that good but i was happy with it

I hate watercoloring so much it's unreal, only because I'm so bad at it.
    But you're great

Fimm It is a very unforgiving media, so I can't say I blame you.

I've only done watercoloring in elementary school with those paints that are like solid discs until you get them a little wet. I never made anything good and I'm going to blame the tools I was given. Not an artist but those paints looked bad unless you were making a wad of pastel colors or a brown clump.

Fantasy oh yeah, I couldn't get anything decent out of those cheap sets. It wasn't until I went to a college level class that I really learned to do watercolor with real watercolors.

I haven't touched watercolor for a long time and these are all I have for now. To be precise I did them with gansai rather than watercolor, but they are similar enough.
