A long, long, long time ago (3 years ago) I was scrolling around in one of the most disgusting and depraved websites (Reddit) for nightmarish media (bad 2hu memes made by secondaries, because I was just getting into it and trying to understand memes via context clues and checking the wiki) and decided to make an account. I wanted to make an account to post my own terrible memes, specifically something about how an official game artist's name (Hirasaka) is, for an English speaker, very similar to the name of a Doujin Guro (anime gore) Mangaka named Harasaki. I made up some username on impulse based on one of the Doujins: insaneley_ayayaya, with the typo on purpose, because I liked how Aya looked in that one and wanted to use it as a profile picture.

I was on quite the "Oooo, I'm so schizoid and L'auteur" larp at the time, took me a while (and lots of actual mental pain) to grow out of it. I still can appreciate interesting stuff but I try not to be such a tryhard about eccentricity.
I only used that account for a few months and then deleted it, but I did go on to use the username on other places, often dropping the "insaneley_" part or changing the number of ya's.
I've gone through many usernames already, I dunno how long this one will stick around, it's nice and simple but I'll probably get bored of it eventually and go melt down my online identity into a new one soon enough. (I now have IRL connections via this username now though, so I've had less of an impulse to change it or delete all my accounts than I used to have)
