I play videogames. I can't say I enjoy it much, but I like to study how design choices, approach to mechanics, and aesthetics changed together with the industry. I only hope that my ancient PC can keep on going, because I won't be able to afford a new one.

I'm a high school teacher currently teaching Swedish and History. I'm not sure where I want my career to go, but pursuing a PhD could be pretty interesting.
Other than that, I like anime, manga and video games, fighting games in particular. I'm a beginner Gunpla builder and also a bass player (very rusty).

Guilty pleasure? I generally try to use my limited time to do things I enjoy, but, every once in a while I would watch a minecraft youtube video.

Hello everyone.
I am Sui, an introverted autistic female with a few other stuff sprinkled in that could be considered a "mental mess".
I enjoy drawing whatever, playing games, or anything else that will be said here.
Creature drawings are my main thing, but I draw characters from other media that I have a heavy or slight interest in as well.
Speaking of media, I have other socials and hope to join some more sites to try out and also spread more of my presence on them, including this one, but I won't mention them ever because I'm not really looking for popularity or recognition. I'm pretty secretive when it comes to sharing socials.
I also enjoy writing poems and stories about whatever comes to mind, serious or not.

I'm kind of surprised that I could be a "unique" case, since it's mostly 4Chan and such from what I've read and nobody else had said this, but I saw an ad from FA about this site, and FA was just another site where I posted whatever art and story I wanted to share (not any of the "main art" there, if you are wondering and if that even makes sense), and check out the ads from other people that catch my interest every now and then. I've saved the links for both the image and this site, and now have bothered to note it down after a few days. Saying the name of my account isn't important and not the point of this question prompt.

What do you spend most of your time doing, tell us about it! Do you have any specific goals or aspirations related to that activity?

Well, as said before, I enjoy drawing and writing whatever comes to my mind. Other than those though, I mainly just watch YouTube videos or roam around on the internet. I have a knack for music of any genre, even YTPs. I guess a goal that I have relating to gaming would be trying to extract a game from a Disney branded flip phone from Japan, but the reason why is for another day. I have other goals but this is one of them.

If you had to summarize yourself in 1-2 short sentences, what would you say?

I'd say that I've probably made a couple of things that others would have, but it's usually just because the idea came to me without knowing if anybody has actually done it or not before me. I also would like to say that my life has a roller-coaster of a ton of messes and regrets that I have moved or tried to move from, so my existence on this earth has been...interesting, to say the least, though that doesn't mean that there were no cherished memories throughout my life.

I'm not too sure actually. I can't really remember any guilty pleasures, I'm kinda neutral for the most part.

And well, that's pretty much it.

A friend one day randomly sent me the link, as I was always reminising on wishing forums would be more alive and finding a comfy one surrounding the interests I have.
Later, he said that he found it through an ad on 4chan.

What do you spend most of your time doing, tell us about it! Do you have any specific goals or aspirations related to that activity?
I try to keep up with games, manga, vns, streams, etc. but sadly, I am not really good at it, to be honest. Best to describe it is to have ever-changing phases of overconsuming one of these.
Though I try to get better at it and slowly try to make one thing I like every day,so the days aren't as dull or feel wasted.
I also like listening to Jpop, but literally any genre that has good music is a genre I like. If anyone ever wants to talk about Vocaloid lyrics, don't hestiate to contact mke!
Not really related (but also related), but I love Hololive and collecting merchandise.
I'm constantly rearranging my room to get fresh air and see what looks best.
I kind of also like talking a lot about things I enjoy, and my friends always told me how I can get them to find something they usually wouldn't find interesting, extremely cool, and entertaining, but I'm not the most outgoing person, and I actually rather keep these things to myself unless someone pokes me in the right spot.

I study germanic history, language, law, art, architecture, and culture, as well as military tactics and history and philosophy in general. Also currently doing indie game dev stuff. I also play mahjong a lot.

Banner ad, as most people seem to have found this place. I've lurked for a handful of months now. This place seemed lively enough but more importantly hasn't degenerated shortly after discovery like most forums I've found my way to from 4chan have. Quite thankful for that, honestly.
What do you spend most of your time doing, tell us about it! Do you have any specific goals or aspirations related to that activity?
With what free time I do have, I spend my time learning Japanese, drawing, playing fighting/strategy games and taking care of my physical health mostly. I'm open to most genres, but my interest in video games have waned over the years so outside of rather outstanding games in other genres, I tend not to stray far from the former mentioned games. While my original desire to learn Japanese was born from being able to play Japanese games, I've come to enjoy the process of learning the language itself. Kind of neat how that happened. Drawing is something I've also recently taken up in the past months. It's slowly becoming my main hobby, it's very calming and it's always a great feeling to see improvements of any kind.

Ultimately, I would love and will pursue making my own game(s). I have some prototypes of ideas I would want to use and I've worked on a few projects, none of which saw the light of day when I was younger for various reasons. Unfortunately, I have far too much on my plate that dedicating any serious time to game development at the moment is just asking for trouble. My desire to make games, and the very idea of games themselves aren't going anywhere anytime soon, so I'm in no rush to get started. When the time comes, the time comes.

I would be completely open to doing something for fun with my art when it gets to a point where I'm comfortable to attach it to a 'thing' rather than simply practising in my sketchbook. That could include, but not limited to using my art in my aforementioned indie games, or even something "smaller" scale in the form of a web comic or something along those lines.

Confident fellow who enjoys spending time doing things worth doing, specifically revolving around living a balanced, fulfilling life. I can dedicate large sums of time to things so long as it's a challenge.

As much as a cop-out answer this is going to be, I don't like to use the term 'guilty pleasure' when describing things I do. I simply enjoy what I enjoy, and I for the most part enjoy the discussions born out of it. As a compromise, I'll list a few things I do enjoy:

Besides working, I like to play video games, mainly RPGs like Disgaea and Hyperdimension Neptunia. I also watch anime, mainly sol animes. My goal is to complete my huge backlog for both. I'm also learning Japanese and hope to be able to be decent at it one day. In the background, I do AI art which I continue to grow on. I post generations I like online. I just hope to have a huge following as an AI artist.
