Anyone else grow a garden? I grow vegetables mostly. Cucumbers, tomatoes, green beans, watermelon, peppers, potatoes. Some flowers as well sunflowers, foxglove, and marigolds. It's my main hobby but don't really have time to grow as big a garden as I would like. Most days I work 10-12 hours and really only have time on the weekends.

Fantasy

Im going to grow my first garden this year. I have to plant soon-ish I think. Bit behind because I wanted to build some raised plant beds. There's a lot of rabbits that hang around my house. If I can't get them built in time I'm just going to plant anyways and use wolf urine.
Not looking to plant anything in particular except I want to eat what I grow.

Fantasy Probably not to late depending on where you live. I usually don't plant most of my garden till after the middle of may when the danger of frost is passed.

My family have a garden that we grow the odd bit on, things like raspberries and such. Typically we pay more attention to the birds and the frogspawn rather than the edible stuff. Scattered some wildflower seeds where we buried my old pets, and theyve started to pop thru which is nice.

i have a garden. the year before last was my first time trying it out, and i grew pumpkins. then last year i grew tomatoes, and this year i want to grow flowers, but I'm still debating on what kinds.

I grow herbs on my balcony. It's not much, but I use them a lot before they die off for the winter. I need to replant this year, but the weather has been schiz lately. Maybe I'll buy this weekend

Fantasy

I have two big jars of dirt. One from this year, one from last year.
I got the dirt from my yard, just a small shovel of it and I added some water.
The jar from last year has plants that grew out of the dirt from seeds that were just in the dirt naturally. The jar from this year hasn't shown any signs of life yet but I'm hopeful.

My garden I talked about previously is still a WIP. I had to clear a space for the raised beds and that took much longer than I'd like it to have taken. Now I am waiting for school to end so I can go build the beds. I'm going to make them by hand so I gotta do all the measurements and stuff.

Also on the docket for this year is grass. We had some sewage work done which ruined a good portion of the front yard. I'm going to go for a mixture of grass and clovers.
