I've been thinking of getting a digital camera, but I don't know what kind I should buy, and what kinds of specs are needed for good pictures.

I did try to edit the tags requirements so we could have two, but I dont think it liked it... so I have left it as is lol

I am not super knowledgeable about cameras, but i've had to look into them for others/friends so I do know a liiiiiittle.
This is a great site for searching camera models, you can filter by basically any criteria. So if you are after 1 thing you can find it.

personally I wanted to get something that takes AA batteries, since I have a bunch I use/charge for my Cassette player. And easy transfer to a PC was also a big priority. Luckily I had a small camera from when I was a kid that my family used. My family have since upgraded several times so they were more than happy for me to use it.
Otherwise my phone camera does the trick for sending pics to friends.
